GFMD 2012 Summit Meeting

Registration is open only to all Member States and Observer States of the United Nations. UN Agencies and other international and regional bodies, as well as select civil society actors are invited as Observers.
To promote institutional coherence, the composition of each delegation and registration for the GFMD 2012 Summit Meeting should be arranged through the designated GFMD Focal Point of each State or Observer organization.
For planning purposes, please indicate the estimated SIZE of your Government's or Observer’s full delegation, and the estimated number of hotel rooms required NOT later than Thursday, 26 April, 2012.
All delegations are encouraged to use the online registration system (see below) to accelerate their accreditation process. Alternatively, GFMD Focal Points may also register through the GFMD Support Unit by e-mail ( This email address is being protected from spambots. Governments are invited to send at least 3 delegates, including the Head of Delegation, who are holding senior policy responsibilities in the fields of migration, development, employment and planning.
Observers are invited to send up to 3 delegates, including the Head of Delegation.
Other Non-government participants such as technical experts, media, and other GFMD related delegates may also be invited to the meeting, subject to approval by the Mauritian GFMD Taskforce.
